Over the years, apart from his action-packed roles, Ajay Devgn has also gained attention for his unique, often minimal, dance moves. This first became a talking point when netizens highlighted his lack of effort in the song ‘Dhoom Dhaam’ from Action Jackson. The conversation resurfaced with the release of ‘Pehla Tu Duja Tu,’ a track from his upcoming film Son of Sardaar 2.
At the trailer launch event held today, July 11, in Mumbai, Ajay finally addressed the internet’s jokes about his dancing.
Referring to the viral hook step from the new song, Ajay quipped: “Aap log mera mazaak udate ho, lekin mere liye ye bhi karna bahut mushkil hai.” The witty remark left the audience in splits. He followed it up with: “Maine kar diya, uska aap shukar guzar kijiye.”

The event saw the entire ensemble cast in attendance, including Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Chunky Panday, Deepak Dobriyal, Ashwini Kalsekar, Kubbra Sait, Roshni Walia, and Sharat Saxena. Director Vijay Kumar Arora and producer Kumar Mangat Pathak were also present.
Besides the fun banter, Ajay also weighed in on the ongoing controversy involving Diljit Dosanjh. The singer-actor has faced backlash for casting Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in Sardaar Ji 3, a film released only in overseas markets.
Commenting on the matter, Ajay said: “I don’t know where the trolling comes from, aur kya sahi hai aur kya galat. I am not in his shoes to comment on that. Uski apni problem hogi. Those who are criticizing him are doing so because they hold a certain point of view.”
