On May 9, 2024, it was announced that the actress will be teaming up with Salman Khan for AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar. The actress is thrilled to be sharing the screen with Khan. Back when Rashmika Mandanna was promoting her Hindi movie Goodbye, she had reached the sets of Bigg Boss. Following which, at the Lokmat Most Stylish Awards 2022 held in Mumbai, Rashmika set the stage ablaze when she danced to ‘Saami Saami’ alongside none other than Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The Sultan actor surprised everyone with his impressive moves, effortlessly matching Rashmika's energy as they recreated the viral hook step.

Sikandar, this action-packed film marks Khan's first collaboration with acclaimed director AR Murugadoss, and filming is expected to kick off in June 2024. Sikandar is more than just high-octane action sequences. Reports reveal a strong underlying story that unfolds into a dramatic and emotional narrative. The script's wholesomeness is said to be a key factor that attracted both Khan and Rashmika Mandanna.

Sikandar also signifies AR Murugadoss's return to Hindi cinema after an eight-year hiatus following his 2016 film Akira. The makers are targeting the Eid 2025 release of the film.

Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna has an array of line-up including Pushpa: The Rise – Part 01 sequel Pushpa: The Rule, The Girlfriend and Chhava to name a few.
