After sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and soon with Vicky Kaushal, Pan India star Rashmika Mandanna will be taking over theatres as she marks her first collaboration with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The film titled Sikandar was announced amid much fanfare earlier this year during Eid, with the shoot currently being scheduled in Hyderabad. Recently, behind-the-scenes photos and videos found its way on social media much to audiences’ surprise.
On the social media platform X, aka Twitter, several videos and photos of Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna shooting in Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad has been going viral. These BTS videos give a glimpse of the lavish location where some major sequences of the film are expected to be shot. Not too long ago, sources had revealed that the film will boast of some royal celebration sequences which are said to be shot in this picturesque palace. Meanwhile, one of the videos also gives a sneak peek into Rashmika shooting for a scene as the team observes the shot on the TV monitor. Apart from these videos, the official X handle of Sikandar has also shared a photo of Salman Khan taking time out to click pics with his fans around.

For the unversed, Sikandar is expected to be mounted on a massive budget and boasts of an ensemble cast including Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, among others who will be essaying key roles. The film is directed by A. R. Murugadoss and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandsons Entertainment. The film is slated for release next year, during the occasion of Eid.
