Sidharth Malhotra resumes shoot for Yodha; says he is ‘Red carpet ready’ for the film : Bollywood News

Sidharth Malhotra was recently seen celebrating his first Holi post his marriage with Kiara Advani with his better half and friends. While he gave a glimpse of the festivities on social media, the actor has now resumed work. Confirming the same, Sidharth took to social media to inform his fans about him resuming the shoot of his upcoming action entertainer Yodha, co-starring Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani.

Sidharth Malhotra is expected to feature in some adrenaline-pumping stunt sequences. Although he didn’t reveal many details, he took to Instagram to share a story of him shooting for one such action sequence. The photo featured him sporting a tee and denims as he is intensely holding a rifle. Besides that, he shared another photo of a red carpet spread on the stairs adding, “#Yodha Red Carpet Ready”.

Talking about Yodha, in an earlier statement given by the actor, he had said, “As an artist, you would want to work on scripts that bring out the best in you. This truly unveiled a newer version of me, which I am very thankful for. The amount of love I have received from audiences and fans is magical. I can't wait to showcase what Yodha has for them.”

Directed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, this is expected to be Dharma Productions' first offering in aerial action space. Reports also state that the film is based on a true incident from the '90s. Besides Dharma, the film is also co-produced by filmmaker Shashank Khaitan’s banner Mentor Disciple Films. Earlier reports also suggested that the film will feature Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani in different avatars. The release date of the film is yet to be announced since it suffered a few delays due to the pandemic.
