The news about the dreamy wedding of actors Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani continue to add to the curiousity as fans of the couple cannot get enough of it. The couple tied the knot in an intimate but lavish ceremony in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. While the couple has resumed work post the celebrations, recently, they were seen together at an awards ceremony which was hosted by Maniesh Paul. During the awards night, the latter indulged in a fun banter with Mrs. Malhotra, whereas Sidharth came on stage and hugged his new bride.
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani may have posed separately on the red carpet leaving SidKiara fans disappointed. However, they were in for a treat when the SOTY actor went on stage and hugged his wife. A video clip from the event was shared by a paparazzo account wherein Maniesh Paul, who played the role of Kiara’s brother in Jugjugg Jeeyo, spoke to the actress about her recent wedding. Kiara opened up about how she felt when she saw Sidharth waiting for her as a groom. For the unversed, she was making a reference to the wedding video posted by the actors, from the bridal entry and ‘vanmala’ moment.

In the video, Kiara Advani is seen walking towards the groom as her brothers were holding a floral canopy for the entry. The actress danced her way towards him and describing that, Advani said, “Main bahut emotional thi, jaise hi darwaaze khule (I was very emotional but as soon as the door opened) and I saw him I was like ‘yey! I am getting married’. Aur woh feeling leke main aage chali (And that's the feeling I walked the aisle with). And of course, if you marry someone you love then you will feel that way na?”

Host Maniesh Paul further also added about how Sidharth Malhotra kept looking at his watch as Kiara danced her way towards him. Going further, he teased the newlyweds, requesting Sid to hug his wife in front of everyone, since it was the first function that the two were attending as newlyweds. And not surprisingly Sid gladly obliged.
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, who came together for the film Shershaah, tied the knot on February 7 in Rajasthan, after which they hosted two receptions for their friends, family, and fraternity colleagues in Delhi and Mumbai.
