Shreya took to Instagram to express her delight at meeting her all-time favorite actress and reminisced about Kareena's memorable roles as Geet, Poo, Mahi, and Chameli.
The photographs, which have quickly garnered popularity online, depict the two actors having a light-hearted and cheerful moment. Shreya showed her tremendous appreciation for Kareena in a poignant Instagram post commemorating the meeting of two industry titans saying, "It was exciting to finally meet my fave... The absolutely fabulous Kareena Kapoor Khan," Shreya wrote, perfectly portraying the enthusiasm and warmth of their connection at the event for Kareena's popular show 'What Women Want'.”

Shreya Ghoshal, recognized for her soulful voice and versatility, began her musical career early and gained national prominence after winning the reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2000. Her breakthrough came when director Sanjay Leela Bhansali selected her to sing five songs for the film Devdas (2002), including the iconic ‘Dola Re Dola’. This marked the start of her successful career in Bollywood, where she has since become a household name.
Shreya has won National Film Awards, Filmfare Awards, among others, cementing her place as one of India's most popular playback singers. She is renowned for her ability to sing in a number of Indian languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Some of her most popular songs include ‘Teri Ore’, ‘Yeh Ishq Hai’, ‘Deewani Mastani’, and ‘Sun Raha Hai’.
Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan will next be seen in The Buckingham Murders, which also stars Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen and is set to be released on September 13. Additionally, Kareena will soon appear in Rohit Shetty's highly anticipated film Singham Again, alongside Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff. In a recent interview with Variety, Kareena confirmed that she and Deepika Padukone will have major roles in the movie.
