Akshay Kumar is one of the most bankable actors in Bollywood and that, even his detractors would agree with this. Lately, his choices of films have positioned him as a futuristic Bollywood hero we deserve and therefore, he fits well on the cover of GQ magazine. This month’s theme of the mag is all things future and Akshay aces it with his shiny pate, dare-devil looks and a great form. On the cover, he has donned a Nivedita Saboo Couture Suit, a zip up jumper from Missoni . He finished off this look with Carrera sunglasses. Dapper, sauve and totally kickass, Akki is like fine wine. He gets better with age.
All the inside images too have Akki wearing Shantanu and Nikhil, Nivedita Saboo Couture and looking absolutely fab in every look. We especially dig the sharp black Shantanu and Nikhil kurta. On work front, he has just impressed us with Pad Man where he essayed the role of Arunachalam Muruganantham who made the first low cost sanitary pad in India and brought forth a revolution. He has now started shooting for Kesari which is based on Battle of Saragarhi. Co-produced by Karan Johar, this film portrays him as a gritty Sikh warrior. He also came out with the trailer of ‘Gold’ which is a historical period sports drama film directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment banner. Akshay has super interesting line up this year and an uber cool form to boot.
