Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have been in the spotlight over the past few months due to legal issues. The couple is currently unable to travel abroad after a Look Out Circular (LOC) was issued against them. However, they have now approached the Bombay High Court seeking permission to travel to London to visit Raj Kundra’s ailing father.

According to their petition, Kundra’s father was diagnosed on November 10 with a chronic and unexplained iron-ammonia deficiency, causing severe complications and blood loss. He has been advised to undergo a repeat capsule endoscopy or double-balloon enteroscopy. The plea states that he has been experiencing recurrent episodes of breathlessness and that his condition is deteriorating. The couple has requested permission to travel to London at the earliest, by January 20, 2026.
The LOC was issued following a fraud case filed in August against Shetty, Kundra, and another individual for allegedly cheating a businessman of over Rs 60 crores. The complaint, lodged by Deepak Kothari, director of Lotus Capital Financial Services Ltd, alleges that the money, collected between 2015 and 2023 under the pretext of business expansion, was diverted for personal expenses. Earlier, in October, the couple’s plea for temporary suspension of the LOC was rejected, prompting Shetty to cancel her trip. They have now filed another plea to visit London and Dubai between December 20, 2025, and January 6, 2026, to meet Kundra’s parents.
On the work front, Shilpa Shetty will be seen in the Kannada action entertainer KD: The Devil, directed by Prem and featuring Sanjay Dutt, V. Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Reeshma Nanaiah, and Nora Fatehi. Meanwhile, Raj Kundra recently appeared in Meher alongside Geeta Basra.
