Shilpa Shetty is all set to join Rohit Shetty’s cop universe in the highly anticipated series Indian Police Force, on Amazon Prime Video. Shilpa will be taking on the role of the formidable cop, Tara Shetty. The actress known for her commitment to health and fitness, gets candid about her prep for the angry lady cop role.

Emphasizing the importance of discipline and consistency, Shilpa stated, "You need to have discipline and consistency. My routine and lifestyle are pretty balanced. I eat my dinner by 7 pm and fast for 14 hours. I usually follow a high protein low carb diet, but when you’re working, you need to adapt to the role and its requirements. Rohit wanted me to put on weight on my legs as he wanted a tough officer. So to get into the skin of the character, I changed my diet to put on some extra pounds focusing mainly on my lower body.

Created by Rohit Shetty and directed by Rohit Shetty and Sushwanth Prakash, Indian Police Force marks Shetty’s digital directorial debut. The cast boasts of Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles with Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, Rituraj Singh, Mukesh Rishi, Lalit Parimoo in pivotal roles. It pays tribute to the selfless service, unwavering commitment, and fierce patriotism of Indian police officers who put everything on the line in their call of duty to keep the nation safe. The seven-episode series is set to premiere on January 19, 2024, on Prime Video.
