Shilpa Shetty has been celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi for years, annually welcoming Lord Ganpati into her home. This year was no exception, as she offered prayers and maintained her devotion.
On Day 2 of the festival, a viral video captured Shilpa’s joyful farewell to Ganpati, joined by her daughter Samisha, husband Raj Kundra, sister Shamita Shetty, and mother. Shilpa and Samisha matched in mustard yellow floral shararas and choli sets, embracing the festive spirit.

With her braid decorated in traditional latkans, Shilpa danced with her family and even the paparazzi during the Visarjan. Little Samisha folded her hands in prayer, and Shilpa and Raj carefully carried the Ganpati idol. In another clip, Shilpa was seen sharing a dance with Raj.
On Saturday, Shilpa Shetty shared a special moment on Instagram, performing aarti for Lord Ganesha with her husband, Raj Kundra, and daughter, Samisha. The festive atmosphere at her home was heightened by visits from celebrities like Rakul Preet Singh and Bipasha Basu, making it a star-studded event.
A devoted follower of Lord Ganpati, Shilpa regularly visits Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak temple, especially on Tuesdays. Interestingly, after one of these visits years ago, she announced her participation in the UK Big Brother, a decision that significantly influenced her career.
In her recent work, Shilpa was seen in Indian Police Force alongside Sidharth Malhotra and others, directed by Rohit Shetty. Her upcoming project is the Kannada film KD – The Devil.
