Shehzada star Kartik Aaryan on being ‘single’ after dating Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday: ‘I am not in a relationship with any girl’

To say Kartik Aaryan has been in the headlines for his relationships would be an understatement. The actor has never publicly dated any actress yet. He was reportedly in a relationship with Love Aaj Kal co-star Sara Ali Khan before they reportedly broke up in 2021. The actor was also linked to Pati Patni Aur Woh co-star Ananya Panday, but they never admitted to it. As Kartik gears up for Shehzada, he reached the sets of Aap Ki Adalat where he was grilled about his relationships.

During an hour-long chat with Rajat Sharma, the actor spoke about his ‘dates’ with co-stars like Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday and several others. When asked what he did after Sara Ali Khan said on Koffee With Karan, “I want to go out on a date with Kartik.” He said, “I did Love Aaj Kal with her.”

He was asked what he did after Ananya Panday also said that she wanted to date Kartik. To which he replied, “Yes, I did Pati Patni Aur Woh with her.”

Adding to that, he was further grilled about why female co-stars want to go on a date with him, Aaryan cheekily responded, “All my dates are with my producer. I have now taken a vow. ..Sitting here in the dock (of Aap Ki Adalat), I want to declare that I am 100 per cent single. I am not in a relationship with any girl. All my dates are over. Now all my future dates are locked for the next two years with Sajid Bhai (Sajid Nadiadwala). I am doing his films. I don’t have time left for sipping coffee.”

When asked why many female actors want to go out on a date with him, he replied, “Please give me one reason. My smile is good, I am cute, I am cool, I look hot and smart. I can also use the word sexy. I have all these qualities, and my producer likes them.”

On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan will kick off 2023 with Shehzada. The ensemble star cast of the film also includes Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, and Manisha Koirala, among others. The film is a remake of Allu Arjun-starrer Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which was released in 2020. The actor also reunites with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 co-star Kiara Advani in Satyaprem Ki Katha. He has Aashiqui 3, and Kabir Khan’s next also in his kitty.
