Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan had a blissful 2022 as two of his projects received immense love from the critics as well as the audience, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Freddy. He is ready to kick off 2023 on a grand note as fans are excited about his upcoming film Shehzada. Amid this, the actor is all set to make his debut on Rajat Sharma’s iconic talk show, Aap Ki Adalat, where he is going to talk about the Bollywood vs South debate.

In the episode, which will be telecast tonight, the host asked Kartik why several top Bollywood films bombed at the box office during the last two years, while several top South Indian films have become hits. In his response, the actor said, “Hindi films did not run successfully last year. From the South, only 3 or 4 films became hits. It so happened that two of their films (from South) became hits, while not a single Hindi movie succeeded, but then Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 came and broke all records.”

As the conversation progressed further, the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor went on to speak about the reason behind his success. He asserted, “I can say what Salman Khan once told me, whom I normally meet in parties. He told me, ‘When your film becomes a hit, when others succeed, it’s not a great thing (mazaa nahin aata), but when all other films flop and yours become a hit, then history is created. I asked Salman Sir, is this a compliment, or are you scaring me? Instead of replying, he hugged me.”

Coming to the professional front, as mentioned earlier, the 32-year-old actor is gearing up for Shehzada. The upcoming masala entertainer also features Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala. The film is slated to release on February 10.
