The teaser of filmmaker Nikkhil Advani’s Vedaa was recently released to a positive response. The film is a rustic action entertainer starring John Abraham and Sharvari in lead roles. The story takes place in the interiors of India and one can also feel the social and political touch in the storyline.
Interestingly, Vedaa will see Sharvari play a rustic character for the first time. Her character is born and brough up in Rajasthan and one can hear her speak in a Rajasthani dialect in the teaser. Those who have seen her in earlier films and some advertisements have been taken in by surprise.
Bollywood Hungama has now learnt that the actress took special training to learn the Rajasthani dialect for the movie. In fact, it was a process of two months for her to learn the dialect perfectly.
We have also come to know that Sharvari’s dialect coach was born and raised in a village in Rajasthan and now lives in Mumbai. This indicates that the actress got to learn from someone who is fully an expert in the language.
Presented by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment, an Emmay Entertainment production, Vedaa is set to release in cinemas on July 12, 2024. Directed by Nikkhil Advani & written by Aseem Arrora, the movie is produced by Zee Studios, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, John Abraham and co-produced by Minnakshi Das.
