PVR Cinemas were celebrating Valentine’s Week with re-releases of several iconic films. The week-long festival kicked off on February 10 and went on till February 16, as many popular films were re-released in theatres. The iconic titles included Titanic (English), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (Hindi), Tamasha (Hindi), Jab We Met (Hindi), Ticket to Paradise (English), Ved (Marathi), Geetha Govindam (Telugu), Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (Tamil), Hridayam (Malayalam), Googly (Kannada), Love Ni Bhavai (Gujarati) and many more. Many fans of Jab We Met have been flocking to the theatres to enjoy the epic romance of Aditya and Geet after 16 years. Videos from theatres have been going viral as fans are enjoying Imtiaz Ali’s romantic comedy. A day ago, Shahid Kapoor surprised the fans with his unplanned appearance.

Videos on social media have gone viral as Farzi actor made a surprise appearance at PVR Cinemas in Juhu. The actor arrived towards the end of the film when ‘Mauja Hi Mauja’ song was playing. As the fans were dancing, they were surprised to see him. He greeted them, shook hands and even clicked pictures. On Friday, Shahid shared the video and wrote, "Jab We Met 16 years later."

The official logline reads, “Primarily based in Mumbai, Bathinda, and Shimla, Jab We Met tells the story of a feisty Punjabi girl, Geet Dhillon, who is sent off track when she bumps into a depressed Mumbai businessman, Aditya Kashyap, on an overnight train to Delhi. While attempting to get him back on board when he alights at a station stop, both are left stranded in the middle of nowhere. Having walked out of his corporate business after being dumped by his girlfriend, Aditya has no destination in mind, until Geet forces him to accompany her back home to her family, and then on to elope with her secret boyfriend, Anshuman.”
