Shahid Kapoor will star with Pooja Hegde as the female protagonist in the highly anticipated film Deva.

Shahid, who plays a rogue police officer, goes into a high-profile case, uncovering a complicated web of deceit and betrayal while going on a perilous investigation.
Deva, directed by Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films, promises to be an exciting thriller.

The film, which stars Pavail Gulati, is set to hit theaters on Dussehra in October of this year.

Shahid Kapoor's most recent film appearance was in the romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which also starred Kriti Sanon.
