Shah Rukh Khan graced the stage at the World Government Summit 2024 in Dubai for an insightful conversation session entitled 'The Making Of A Star: A Conversation With Shah Rukh Khan', a 15-minute discussion on his ascent to fame and fortune. Becoming the only Indian actor to be invited to the event and the second India after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he revealed that he often visits Dubai and has a house as well. SRK’s grand villa ‘Jannat’ is located in Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah. And interestingly, during the conversation, he revealed that he has a very high-profile neighbour in Dubai and it is none other than Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Speaking at the event, Shah Rukh Khan revealed, “I spend a lot of time here. I have a beautiful house which has been given to me by Nakhil. And it’s one of the nicest places in the world because nobody troubles me. And his Excellency the Prime Minister also just told me that he stays next to it. So the next New Year party is with him. He’s a good neighbor, but it’s really nice. I enjoy being in Dubai. I really love being here.”

At the event, he also met Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also the Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.

Workwise, in 2023, Shah Rukh Khan made a smashing return with Pathaan, followed by Jawan and Dunki. The former two films ended up earning more than Rs. 1000 crore at the box office globally whereas Dunki was also a success with Rs. 212.42 crore at the Indian box office.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is yet to announce his next project but speculations are that he is working with Sujoy Ghosh for Red Chillies Entertainment’s next King, starring alongside Suhana Khan. He has Yash Raj Films’ Tiger vs Pathaan alongside Salman Khan.
