Shah Rukh Khan gives a lot of respect and dignity to everyone, reveals Aditi Govitrikar : Bollywood News

While the super stardom of Shah Rukh Khan is a fact known to all, the megastar also enjoys ample love and appreciation among his industry peers. Many of them, who have worked with the superstar, have often complimented him for his grace and the respect with which each of his co-stars and the rest of the crew on the sets of the film and such a humble attitude is bound to earn fans across. Among them is also model-actress Aditi Govitrikar, who shared screen space with the actor in Paheli (2005), which also starred Rani Mukerji, Juhi Chawla, Anupam Kher, among others.

In an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Aditi Govitrikar recalled her experience of sharing screen space and working with Shah Rukh Khan in the fantasy drama Paheli. She said, “I got to learn a lot, not only from Shah Rukh and Rani Mukerji but also from Anupam Kher. Shah Rukh was the actor and the producer, so he had double duties to fulfil, yet the way he handled everything…the respect and dignity that he gives to you as a human being, I don’t think I have met anyone else till today who makes you feel like he does.” She went on to add, “If you are talking to him, he makes you feel ki bas aap hi ho. He doesn’t get distracted. That is fantastic.”

Speaking of Paheli, it was directed by Amol Palekar and was considered as India’s official entry to Oscars in that year. The film is a fantasy drama where Shah Rukh Khan as a ghost woos a married but naïve Lachhi after he falls in love with her by taking the form of her husband but retaining his real identity in front of her all along.
