While several of his throwback interviews have some hidden gems in them, a recent one doing the rounds in media reports about this interview where the actor was seen discussing his looks.

Shah Rukh Khan is known to take comments with a pinch of salt. In this throwback CNN interview, when he was seen commenting on his looks which not only does he is rather unconventional but the actor has also maintained that he often finds it embarrassing that people like him for his looks. He had said, “I don’t know myself, most friends laugh at me that I have become a film star, especially the actresses who worked with me earlier on, their first reaction was ‘eeks’. They find it very surprising, they think I am a long-running fluke.”

“I find it funny when people find me good-looking, I find it embarrassing actually. I am very ordinary in my films and that makes them special, because there is no other reason behind their success. I work hard, I am very honest with the work I do. Besides that it could be luck, god has blessed me, people have been kind, or it could be that 100 million Indians are very short-sighted,” he had concluded.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make a comeback on the big screen after three years and fans of the superstar can’t wait to see him in his new avatar. His forthcoming release is the YRF spy drama Pathaan which also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles. Besides that, he has his first collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani, titled Dunki alongside Taapsee Pannu, and his Pan India film with Atlee, Jawan stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi too.
