Shah Rukh Khan will be soon making his entry into the OTT world. A couple of months back, Shah Rukh Khan had featured in a campaign by Disney+Hotstar where he was seen considering debuting in the OTT world. In the ad, he was seen discussing different ideas with his manager for his OTT debut. A couple of weeks back, the actor announced his OTT project SRK+. In the ads, it has been claimed as a new streaming platform. After the announcement, in another ad, Khan was seen discussing content ideas for SRK+ with director Anurag Kashyap. On Thursday, Khan dropped another ad where he is seen sitting with his manager and Kashyap, discussing fresh ideas for SRK+ over lunch.
In the new ad, Khan and Kashyap can be seen eating their lunch while also discussing ideas for SRK+. The superstar’s manager points out that all trending series and films are streaming on Disney+Hotstar. SRK keeps a positive attitude by saying that his platform's name is enough to attract viewers. He is then irked by Kashyap who can be seen licking his fingers as he enjoys his meal. Kashyap then proceeds to show the trending show and movies of Disney+Hotstar on his phone. Khan takes the phone and drops it in the dal kept in front of him, visibly irked by Kashyap’s lack of interest in churning out fresh ideas for SRK+.

Meanwhile, after Khan’s announcement of SRK+ on March 15, it was speculated that the superstar is launching his own OTT channel. However, that is not the case. According to sources, SRK+ is an extension to his collaboration with Disney+Hotstar and further details will be revealed soon. The superstar will be making his digital debut with Disney+Hotstar.
