Actor Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with lung cancer a few days ago. As wishes and prayers have been pouring in from all across, his best friend Paresh Ghelani penned an emotional note after he was diagnosed with lung cancer.

In his Instagram note, Paresh Ghelani wrote, "Brother, thought we had covered the whole amusement park. Thought it was closed now, but I guess we are not done yet. Let’s buckle up for an another roller coaster ride. Yet another battle has begun. Battle we must and the battle you will conquer We know the braveheart you are, you will win this."

“Sher hai tu Sher!!" he ended the note.

Maanayata Dutt had also released a statement last week that read, "I thank everyone who has expressed their well wishes for Sanju’s speedy recovery. We need all the strength and prayers to overcome this phase. There is a lot that the family has gone through in the past years but I am confident, this too shall pass. However, it is my heartfelt request to Sanju’s fans to not fall prey to speculations and unwarranted rumours, but to just help us with their ongoing love, warmth and support. Sanju has always been a fighter, and so has our family. God has yet again chosen to test us to overcome the challenges ahead. All we seek is your prayers and blessings, and we know we will emerge as winners on the other side, as we always have. Let us use this opportunity to spread light and positivity."

This past weekend, Sanjay Dutt did some tests at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai to understand the future course of treatment.
