On the 42nd anniversary of Nargis Dutt's passing, Sanjay Dutt paid tribute to his mother. The renowned actress passed away due to cancer in 1981. Nargis was a legendary Bollywood performer who was most known for her roles in the films Mother India, Awara, and Shree 420, among others. Sanjay posted a sweet throwback photo from his childhood with his adoring mother and sister on his social media account.

On Wednesday, Sanjay took to Instagram and posted a throwback picture of his mother form his childhood. In the picture, Sanjay can be seen wearing a striped T-shirt while Nargis was seen in an ethnic wear. Sharing the picture, he wrote in the caption, “Miss you, Maa! Your love and warmth continue to guide me every day, and I am forever grateful for the lessons you taught me.”

Soon after he shared the post, fans and followers expressed their love in the comments section. Reacting to the photo, a user commented, “Priceless photo,” while another follower wrote, “Love you baba.” Several fans dropped heart emoticons in the comments.

Sanjay’s sister Priya Dutt also paid a tribute to her mother with this post. She posted a video along with an emotional message. She wrote, “Losing you at a very young age impacted my life but the few years I spent with you made a greater impact. You taught me love and compassion, you taught me to smile through adversities and see the positive in everything. These were my life’s most important lessons. I know you are always with me as my beautiful guardian angel. Love you maa forever.”

On the professional front, Sanjay will be seen next in Leo alongside Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan, and the movie is slated for a release on October 19, 2023. He also has Jawan featuring along with Shah Rukh Khan and Ghudchadhi alongside Raveena Tandon in his pipeline.
