Animal hit theatres on December 1.

In an interview with Mashable India, Vanga delved into the scene where Ranbir Kapoor's character arrives at his sister's college wielding a rifle, responding to her being ragged by seniors. Explaining the emotional depth of the moment, Vanga said, “The whole emotion of the scene is when the boy enters the class, he says ‘Kisne chheda meri behen ko (who teased my sister)? Everyone will be mocking him saying ‘Ab school ke bache bhi chhedne lage’ (now school kids will also tease us).”

Vanga highlighted the juxtaposition in the scene, emphasizing that while the teacher talks about heat and mass transfer, a bullet exits a machine gun in the background. He clarified that the scene aimed to confront the audience with the presence of the rifle. Describing the scene as a display of flair, Vanga concluded, “That girl says, ‘Ragging ka season toh abhi shuru bhi nahi hua hai, abhi toh jalwa baaki hai’, cut to jalwa. Guitar music and him walking.”

While Animal has faced its share of critiques, Vanga's insights into the filmmaking process shed light on the intentional choices made to evoke specific emotions and reactions from the audience.

Produced by T-Series, Cine1 Studios and Bhadrakali Productions, Animal has gone onto earn over Rs. 500 crores at the India box office.
