Sandeep Reddy Vanga reveals, “If you give me 3-4 scenes and ask me to write a story based on them, I can’t do it. I can only write what I want to make”

When Komal Nahta, asked Sandeep Reddy Vanga, “You mentioned that you write alone, it's just you and yourself. Do you have a specific writing process?”

To this, Sandeep replied, “No, sir, I don't have anything like that. I don't know, I wrote Animal during the pandemic, in complete chaos. I don't have a process like, ‘I'll go to a quiet place and type’. Because I'm not a professional writer.”

The filmmaker added, “If you come to me and give me 3-4 scenes and ask me to write a story based on them, I can’t do it. I can only write what I want to make. Even if you give me a lot of money, I can't write a story and give it to you. Because if you read my script, it will be very boring. I have written a lot of details in it. It's not a reader-pleasing story. After reading my story, you won't say, ‘What a story!’ You'll say, ‘Man, how much does this guy write?’ That’s the feeling you'll get.”
