In an interview with the aforementioned publication, Jurel didn't mince words as he labelled Malviya as "a big opportunist," alleging that she strategically initiated communication with him prior to events like the Holi party to garner attention from the media. According to Jurel, their breakup wasn't mutual, contrary to Malviya's claims, as he was the one who opted to end the relationship. He went on to reveal that Malviya often complained about his participation in Bigg Boss, attributing it to a deliberate attempt to tarnish her image.

Expanding on Malviya's personality traits, Jurel criticized her ego and purportedly pretentious demeanour, stating, "She is not worthy of a relationship as she failed in it." He lamented the loss not only of a romantic partner but also a friend, emphasizing the emotional investment he had made in the relationship.

Their relationship, which began on the sets of Udaariyaan, underwent public scrutiny when Jurel's appearance on Bigg Boss 17 brought their romance to light.
