Shah Rukh and Salman rivalry now seems to have taken over shooting destinations as well. After Shah Rukh shot for some dare devil action sequences in Thailand for his Don 2, now Salman has taken one step further with Ek Tha Tiger. The film is currently being shot in the same country and the action there is expected to be bigger than the best.
"Don 2 action sequences that were set in Thailand were indeed quite good. They were eye catchy for sure and thankfully moved away from the clichéd sequences that are otherwise shot in the city of Bangkok and focus primarily on aerial shots and racing cars. However, in case of Don 2, it was the scenic beauty that did the trick. Now for 'bhai' there is something all the more extraordinary being executed for Ek Tha Tiger. Director Kabir Khan and his crew are going all out to ensure that the Thailand schedule of the film brings back excellent results", says a source.
Salman isn't new to Thailand though. While he has shot there before, his last trip there was a little over a year ago for Ready. There too he had canned a few action sequences for director Anees Bazmee.
"However, that was more comical than some serious hardcore action. There he was riding a 'Tuk Tuk' and indulged in the kind of action that was more 'desi' than stylish. On the other hand, the very sensibilities of Ek Tha Tiger are different. The film gives a much more serious account of affairs due to it being a spy thriller and knowing Kabir's sensibilities, one can well imagine the kind of visuals that he would get in place here. They are most definitely going to challenge what Shah Rukh and Farhan Akhtar brought on screen with Don 2", the source adds.
Moreover, it is also being rumoured that Salman would be seen getting into a hand-to-hand fight with a professional body builder of Indian origin. If portions of the action sequences that have been revealed in the teaser are any indication, Salman may well be having yet another ace up his sleeves.
