Apart from the leading man Salman Khan, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan boasts a long list of ensemble cast that includes Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Venkatesh Daggubati, Palak Tiwari, Bhumika Chawla, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Vinali Bhatnagar, etc. Interestingly, star Indian boxer Vijender Singh will be playing a negative character in the movie.

During the recent trailer launch of the film, Vijender spoke about how Salman helped him during the shoot of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan which ensured that he wasn’t nervous. “Bhai was there so all the nervousness was gone. He used to come on time, so the shoot was done on time. We all went home on time. Bhai taught me a lot during the shoot. How to hit properly, and how to put less power in the punches,” he said. To this, Salman added, “Also taught how not to hit!”

During an exclusive chat with Bollywood Hungama, Farhad Samji, director of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, spoke about the challenges of directing the film. He said, “Fulfilling Salman Khan’s audiences’ expectations is not easy. They want to see their Bhaijaan as a true hero. But for me, living up to the audiences’ expectations came afterwards. First there was the story and screenplay. I did my best to tell the story that I had to. And then I made sure that I did full justice to my star’s image and what his fans expect. Pehley khana banaate hain phir ussey thaali mein khubsoorati se paroste hain. First comes the content, then the presentation.”

Produced by Salman Khan Films, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will be releasing during Eid on April 21.
