At the trailer launch of Kartavya, Saif Ali Khan was all praise for his co-star Rasika Dugal, speaking warmly about his experience of working alongside the acclaimed actor. The upcoming Netflix film has already created excitement among audiences, and Saif’s heartfelt appreciation for Rasika added another memorable moment to the launch event.
Speaking about sharing screen space with Rasika, Saif said, “It was really elevating for me to work with an artist of this calibre. She brought out good work in me also. I think I’m a big fan.”
His candid words reflected the mutual admiration and creative synergy between the two actors, further raising anticipation around their on-screen chemistry in the film.
Kartavya is produced by Shah Rukh Khan under his banner Red Chillies Entertainment. At the same event, when Saif spoke about his association with SRK saying, “I had a very short conversation with Shah Rukh Khan. I have had a lovely and a long association with him. I look up to him in many, many ways. So, it was a short chat. He told me, ‘There's a lovely script. I'd like you to hear it and do the film’. I did, met the director and came on board.”
He continued, “Once the film was complete, he said, ‘It has come out as a lovely movie’. He was very happy. So, that was pretty much it.”
Directed by Pulkit, Kartavya will stream on Netflix from May 15.
