South Korean film Parasite is one of the most appreciated films of the year. The movie not only won over the audience but had a historic win at the Academy Awards 2020. Parasite won under the categories Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best International Film.

Saif Ali Khan feels a film like Parasite can be made in India, but we do not like to show it

Actor Saif Ali Khan in a recent interview with a magazine revealed that he was in complete awe of the film. Saif said that the film deserved all the Oscars it won. He further said that he believes that films like Parasite can be easily made in India. However, he said that in India, we do not like to show films like that.

If we take a look at Saif Ali Khan's film choices in the recent past, one can easily deduce that the actor has been experimenting with different genres and characters. The actor also entered the webspace and also did films like Kaalakaandi, Laal Kaptaan and Tanhaji, which were all very different from each other. Saif Ali Khan said that there is a certain kind of grammar to Hindi films and things like Laal Kaptaan are alien to our system.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in the film Jawaani Jaaneman. Before the lockdown, the actor wrapped up the first schedule of Bunty Aur Babli 2 with co-stars Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari.
