Riteish on Genelia’s plans post marriage : Bollywood News

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza are now a couple. While celebrations continued right through last week with many in the industry rescheduling their other assignments to make it to one of the most high profile weddings of the season, many are also wondering if Genelia would continue her acting assignments. The good news though is that contrary to speculations, there aren't any restrictions whatsoever on the pretty girl when it comes to her stint with the big screen.

"Well, I don't think there is any reason why Genelia would have to put her acting assignments on hold", says Riteish who would be romancing her on screen in Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya in a few weeks from now.

An actress who has done movies across different languages, whether Hindi, Tamil or Telugu, Genelia currently has only three films in hand - Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, Rock The Shaadi and Telugu film Naa Ishtam where she has Rana Daggubati as her leading man. While she also has a pending release in the form of It's My Life, of late she hasn't signed many movies, hence hinting that a long break could be on the cards, if not an extended stay away from the sets.

"It is entirely her call on how she wants to work in years to come. She is an experienced person and professional; she can make her own decisions", says Riteish. As for the fact that her continued stint with films down South may require her to stay away from Mumbai (and hence him) for an extended period of time, Riteish says that 'they will figure it out when the moment arrives since it is a private affair'.

He does acknowledge the fact though that privacy can't be expected to be maintained when it comes to conversations related to the promotion of Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. After all, it is inevitable that the film as well as their marriage is talked about in the same vein.

"I do understand that and know that this kind of privacy is very difficult to maintain", sighs Riteish, "Eventually the questions are balanced between the film and my wedding but given a chance; I try to outweigh the former."
