Riteish Deshmukh is excited about the release of Ved, his next directorial Marathi venture that will also star his actress-wife Genelia D’Souza alongside him. Amidst all the hoopla of promotions surrounding the release of the film, he recently rang in his birthday by spending time with Genelia and his squad at a restaurant which included Dhamaal co-star Ashish Chowdhry and his wife Samita Bangargi, television stars Jennifer Winget, Shabir Ahluwalia and his wife Kanchi Kaul, Hussain Kuwajerwala and his wife Tina along with Arpita Khan Sharma and writer Mushtaq Sheikh.

Ashish Chowdhry took to Instagram to share a lovely birthday wish for his best friend Riteish Deshmukh, while wishing him luck for his forthcoming film Ved. He also shared a series of photos from their luncheon session saying, “The man I’d marry if I was a woman! #happybirthday bruv @riteishd… It’s your year to come. Amongst all the other fun, can’t wait to see your role as a director with #Ved.. 2023 gonna rock!!” Overwhelmed by the special message, Riteish responded to it saying, “Love you ashman”.

On the other hand, Beyhadh actress Jennifer Winget too took to the platform to share a reel that was created when they attended Riteish’s birthday bash saying, “As is….. US!!!??Happiest birthday @riteishd… Here’s to another year of lasting joy and incredible friends. Thanks for being so awesome!” Riteish’s wife Genelia D’Souza dropped a comment on it saying, “You are so lovely Jen”, followed by a green heart emoji.

Coming to the birthday boy Riteish Deshmukh, the actor’s next film Ved, co-starring wife Genelia D’Souza and television star Jiya Shankar, is expected to be a remake of Telugu hit Majili (2019) that featured Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya. This film is special in many ways for the actor and one of the main reasons is that this will be the first time Genelia and Riteish will come together as a married couple in a Marathi film. It is expected to release on December 30.
