Newly weds Riteish and Genelia made their first appearance as Mr. and Mrs. Deshmukh for a Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) match in Vizag on Saturday February 5, 2012. A glowing Genelia waved to her fans on the ground as she arrived hand in hand with her husband.
Riteish, who is the Vice Captain of the CCL team Mumbai Heroes, was there to play a match against the Bengal Tigers. His beautiful wife Genelia was there to support him, dressed in a Mumbai Heroes jersey that she paired with dark skinny jeans. The new bride had mehendi on her hands and traditional green glass bangles on her forearms.
Riteish and Genelia’s first outing after marriage
Genelia's presence proved lucky for the Mumbai Heroes as they won the match by 6 wickets and entered the semi finals. Not just that Riteish got 2 wickets for 27 runs in 4 overs.
After the match, Riteish tweeted, "Proud to be part of MUMBAI HEROES- whaattta win today - we enter the Semis now."
