Renowned Bollywood actor and director Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66 in India's capital Delhi. Satish’s close friend and actor Anupam Kher broke the news on March 9 through an emotional post shared on his social media handle. The news left numerous celebs from the fraternity and netizens shocked as well as heartbroken. Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Kangana Ranaut, and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, among many others, paid their last respect to the late actor. A day after his demise, producer Boney Kapoor also took to his Instagram handle and expressed his grief over Satish’s untimely death while revealing that he was about to take his fifth collaboration with the late actor-turned-director.

For the unversed, Boney Kapoor dropped a monochrome picture, which was from the sets of Roop ki Rani Choron ka Raja. In the caption, Boney stated that it was clicked on the first day of the shoot. Besides Boney and Satish, the throwback photo also featured Anil Kapoor and Sridevi. The brief caption read, “First day shoot of Roop ki Rani Choron ka Raja. Satish made his debut as a Director, he had put in a lot of hard work & it remains amongst the most Glosiest films, he directed 4 of our films & we were working on the 5th film.”

Reacting to the post, many netizens flooded the comments section with red-heart emoticons while a section of them mourned the loss of Kaushik.

As mentioned above, Satish Kaushik died on March 9 after suffering a heart attack in Delhi. Satish had flown to Delhi to celebrate Holi, a day after attending veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar’s Holi party on Tuesday. He also shared a series of photos with Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha and more on his official Twitter account.
