Indian actress Richa Chadha has come to the defence of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who recently faced online trolling for her appearance at Paris Fashion Week. Richa, in a conversation with Jist, expressed her perspective on the matter and strongly condemned the act of trolling, attributing it to jealousy.

Richa Chadha offered a candid view, stating, “Jalte hain log unse (People are jealous of her)." She proceeded to shower Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with praise, describing her as “Sabse khoobsurat mahila hai woh Hindustan ke history ki aajtak ki or mujhe lagta hai unmein bahut discipline hai or woh kaafi graceful hai (She is the most beautiful woman in India’s history so far and I feel she is very disciplined and graceful). She doesn’t talk bad about anyone. I like her a lot.”

Richa Chadha firmly stood by Aishwarya and assured that the actress remains unperturbed by the trolling she faces. She asserted that Aishwarya's grace and resilience outweigh any negative comments. Richa concluded by stating, “People can troll her all they want, she won't be bothered by it.”

Addressing the issue of how to deal with such trolling, Richa questioned the need to engage with such negativity. She emphasized that individuals who indulge in trolling are often seeking an outlet for their frustrations. Richa humorously referred to a hypothetical person, “Kyun tumhein deal karna hai bhai? Chintu Chandigarh mein baith ke kya soch raha hain tumhein kya farak padega? Chintu tumhare aage aa gaya tum ausey chaprasi bhi nahi rakhoge apne ghar mein. Kya farak padta hain tumhein Chintu kya sochta hain? Chintu apni bhadaas nikal raha hai, uske peeche usko pain feel ho raha hai, uske paas naukri nahi hai, uski mummy LPG se chulhe pe aa gayi hain. Chintu kya karega? ‘Inki dress acchi nahi hai.’ Okay (Let them keep trolling, who cares what a random person thinks? People are unhappy with their lives so this is what they do. Okay).”

For the unversed, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had graced the Paris Fashion Week on October 1, donning a stunning golden ensemble by Falguni and Shane Peacock. Her appearance was among the highlights of the event, alongside international stars such as Kendall Jenner, Dame Helen Mirren, Elle Fanning, and Eva Longoria, set against the iconic backdrop of the Eiffel Tower.
