Richa Chadha calls out a senior journalist for passing misogynistic comments on her, Swara Bhasker, and Sunny Leone : Bollywood News

Actress Richa Chadha is one of the cause ambassadors of an initiative named ‘Find a Bed’ which helps people find a hospital bed during the COVID crisis. However, a senior journalist made a distasteful comment on the cause ambassadors of the initiative. Apart from Richa, actors Swara Bhasker and Sunny Leone are also the face of the initiative. Richa, who came across the comment by a senior journalist, called out his 'pervert' behaviour.

Richa Chadha, on Thursday, shared a screenshot of journalist Ashok Shrivastav's comment on the cause ambassadors and his Twitter bio which said that he is a consulting editor with Doordarshan Hindi and the author of Narendra Modi Censored. He commented on the selection of the ambassadors and the pictures used.

Sharing the screenshots, Richa wrote, "Shocked to find that such a misogynistic and evil person has been hired by the Doordarshan, India’s national public service broadcaster. At a time when everyone is doing literally all they can to help, he simply cannot help but out himself as a pervert."

Commenting on the post, actor Taapsee Pannu pointed out that Shrivastav has been writing similar things about her as well. "He has been writing things about me also but I always a more important tweet before and after his to attend to so overlooked it. This is how he wants to put his power in use :) shows much," she wrote.

Responding to Taapsee, Richa wrote, “Ohhh ewww. Chhheee! Sorry you had to tolerate this. What a disgrace! LOL. Why is he so obsessed with us ? And one is only powerful when they can empower others. So I'd say this is weakness on display. Carry on sis. Ignore the helmet heads.”
