Rhea Chakraborty revealed her comeback earlier this week by announcing her association with this year’s season 19 of MTV Roadies. In a video shared by the show’s official Instagram page, the actress was seen saying, “Aapko kya laga, mai wapas nahin aungi? Dar jaungi? Darne ki baari kisi aur ki hai. Milte hai auditions pe” (You thought I won’t return? You thought I got scared? It’s time for someone else to get scared. See you at the auditions).
And now, Rhea has already started shooting for the show. She showed a glimpse of the same through a video shot inside a vanity van where she is getting her hair and make-up done. Interestingly, exactly three years ago she had shot for the Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer Chehre in the same vanity van.
While the process was on, Rhea was asked how she feels to be back. She said, “So I haven’t shot in three years, and I am back on set. And this vanity van is feeling all new. Hair and make-up hasn’t been happening in a while. Strangely enough, when I shot three years ago, it was on this very set in this vanity van for Chehre. And I am back here again after three years, so the universe has strange ways. Overwhelming and excited, welcome back to me.”

Rhea captioned the video, “It’s been a long waiting game. Being back on set, back to work is a joy I can’t describe. Heart full of gratitude, raring to go. Thank you to all of you for your love and support. Times have been hard, but your love has been real. BRB - crying happy tears.”
Rhea was away from the entertainment world following the death of her boyfriend and actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June 2020. His death is being investigated by the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) since 2020.
