Earlier this week, we had reported that Shah Rukh Khan had gifted Salman Khan a brand new Mercedes Benz as a show of gratitude when the latter agreed to feature in his next venture that will be directed by Aanand L. Rai. Well for those of you who were wondering which of the models from the stable of Mercedes made the cut to become a gift, we bring you all the details you might want to know.

Interestingly, Salman Khan was recently spotted driving the new swanky set of hot wheels in the city, sporting a temporary number plate. The car which is a Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 features a 3.0 litre V6 BiTurbo charged engine that has its top speed electronically limited to just 250 km/h.

If that wasn’t all, though it isn’t the latest model from Mercedes, the AMG GLE 43 that was launched in India back in January 2016 also features some cutting edge technology like the variable dynamic control system which fundamentally assigns different characteristics to the five transmission modes and the Airmatic Package that is basically a combination of air suspension and the Adaptive Damping System ADS PLUS, which provides good ride and comfort whilst also ensuring excellent driving dynamics both on and off-road.

Besides this, the AMG GLE 43 that comes with a hefty price tag of approximately Rs. 1.04 cr also features the AMG - Specific 4Matic all-wheel drive with 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission for its available 9 gears that enable the car to do 0 - 100 km/h in a staggering 5.7 seconds.
