Just last week we had reported that Anurag Kashyap, who is known for the intriguing characters he develops for his film had to face rejection. Yes, we are talking about the report that the new teen sensation on the Bollywood block had in fact told Anurag the exact words of, “Sorry, not available”. Well, now we learnt that it was none other than the Student of the Year 2 star Ananya Panday who said these words to the maverick filmmaker. Now we hear that Kashyap had approached Ananya to feature in a new advert he is shooting for the chocolate brand Cadbury Perk.
Apparently Anurag was shooting a new advert for Cadbury Perk and Ananya fits the bill perfectly. The teen sensation Ananya is the perfect fit for the brand which stands for youth, mischief and fun. So it was natural that Ananya Panday would be the new face. As for the ‘Sorry, Not Available’, Anurag and Ananya were doing look tests before the final advert shoot, and Kashyap wanted to do another test, and asks Ananya to report for an early morning shoot but, she cites her yoga classes as a reason for her unavailability the next day by saying “Sorry, not available”.
But knowing Anurag Kashyap, the director didn’t take no for an answer, and without wasting any time took Ananya’s permission to use footage from their rehearsals. Using Ananya’s test look from the rehearsals and her phrase “Sorry, not available” Kashyap went ahead and made a hilarious ad out of it. The end result of the same being a hilarious yet catchy ad that captures Ananya in her quirky, fun and positive attitude while at the same time focusing on the brand.
With Anurag Kashyap directing an ad for Cadbury Perk that features the new Student of the Year 2 actress Ananya Panday we for sure are pretty kicked to watch the ad.
