Thanks to his video and a sweet gesture, then Indian government acted upon his advice and started a portal ‘Bharat Ke Veer’, which attempts to donate money to the family of the deceased soldiers.

And it was a pleasant surprise to see that the superstar reached the headquarters of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) at Greater Noida near Delhi. The actor posted a collage of three pictures that shows Akshay Kumar checking out army equipment and happily interacting with the soldiers and entertaining them. “Lovely visiting the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force this morning. Nothing but deepest respect for their never-dying spirit!” was the caption posted by Akshay Kumar with the picture.
ITBP Director General (DG) R K Pachnanda and other senior officials even told Akshay Kumar about the functioning of the force in high-altitude areas and other risk-prone areas. Incidentally, actor Varun Dhawan visited the same ITBP headquarters recently before starting his next film, October, directed by Shoojit Sircar in Delhi.
Toilet – Ek Prem Katha is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and is all set to release on Friday August 11. Along with Akshay Kumar, it also stars Bhumi Pednekar.
