Rashmika Mandanna says Animal co-star Ranbir Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga influenced her as an actor : Bollywood News

After establishing herself in the South belt, actress Rashmika Mandanna has now become a known name in the Hindi film industry as well. After making her debut with the OTT release Goodbye, the actress is all set to star in two upcoming Bollywood films, titled Mission Majnu, and Animal. While the former will be released on Netflix, the latter will be her first Hindi theatre release. Speaking of Animal, Rashmika Mandanna opened up about her experience of working with Ranbir Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga in the film.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Mandanna asserted, “For me I think what is happening after shooting for Animal is that it has made me realise a couple of things as an actor. I think my choices of films are going to be different. I think the way I’m going to perform is going to be different. Because, this is all the influence of me working so closely with Sandeep sir, RK, and Anil sir in fact.”

The Pushpa actress further added, “I tell you I’m so excited about Animal and how. Like, I’m having a blast. It’s amazing how when you genuinely are excited about something it comes out in your work. And, you’re constantly just thinking about the shoot and you’re thinking about what are the different ways of doing a scene.”

Concluding her take, the 26-year-old actress said, “This is something I learnt in Animal. Like, there can never be one way of showing sadness. There are four, five, six, and seven ways of showing sadness. So, you try all those. And which fits your bucket the best, is what you choose.”

The Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal is slated to release on August 11, 2023. Besides Kapoor and Mandanna, the ensemble star cast of the upcoming film will also feature Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Tripti Dimri in pivotal roles.
