Rajkummar Rao is having a moment. Fresh off the success of his biographical drama Srikanth – Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne, the actor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Mr & Mrs Mahi. While Rao prepares for his next project, Srikanth continues to resonate with audiences and industry peers alike. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram stories to shower the film with compliments.

Sharing a poster of Srikanth – Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne, Singh wrote, “An uplifting story & a beautiful performance from a special actor. Congrats to the team of #Srikanth.”

The biographical drama, which hit Indian theatres on May 10, 2024, tells the inspiring true story of Srikanth Bolla. Bolla, a visually impaired industrialist, defied limitations to establish Bollant Industries. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, the film stars Rao in the titular role alongside a stellar supporting cast including Jyotika, Alaya F, and Sharad Kelkar.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is equally busy. He's nearing the completion of Singham Again, keeping the action genre a mainstay for him. Rumours abound about his next project, tentatively titled Rakshas. Directed by Prasanth Varma, known for the superhero film HanuMan, this mythological film set in pre-Independence India will see Singh portray a morally complex character. This role has reportedly piqued his interest, and details are expected to be finalized by the end of May.

He plans to kick off and finish his next project, Dhurandhar, by July-end, followed by a short break before diving into Rakshas in September. And for fans of the iconic Don franchise, Singh is also slated to begin filming Don 3 in January 2025 under Farhan Akhtar's direction.
