Notably, Padukone is the sole Indian star on this year's list, sharing space with Hollywood A-listers like Eva Longoria and Uma Thurman.
Her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, took to Instagram to celebrate his wife's accomplishment, sharing a picture of her feature in Deadline and affectionately calling her “Baby Mama got ‘em shook yeeaahhh.”
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will star in the futuristic film Kalki 2898 AD. Sharing the screen with powerhouses like Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, this project promises to be a visual spectacle. Padukone's commitment to diverse roles continues with the Hindi remake of The Intern. Here, she reunites with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is equally busy. He's nearing the completion of Singham Again, keeping the action genre a mainstay for him. Rumours abound about his next project, tentatively titled Rakshas. Directed by Prasanth Varma, known for the superhero film HanuMan, this mythological film set in pre-Independence India will see Singh portray a morally complex character. This role has reportedly piqued his interest, and details are expected to be finalized by the end of May.
Ranveer Singh's schedule seems packed. He plans to kick off and finish his next project, Dhurandhar, by July-end, followed by a short break before diving into Rakshas in September. And for fans of the iconic Don franchise, Singh is also slated to begin filming Don 3 in January 2025 under Farhan Akhtar's direction.
