Just a few days back we had reported that Ranveer Singh was in the UK to begin prep work for his next venture, ’83, that is based on India’s win at the 1983 World Cup. Well, while there, Ranveer who has in the past made it pretty obvious that he is a major football aficionado had a fanboy moment when he met Arsenal star Mesut Ozil.
Taking to Instagram Ranveer Singh shared an image that featured the two posing together for the cameras saying, “An absolute pleasure meeting @m10_official A thorough gentleman…full of warmth, humility & grace. A true champion. Thank you for hosting us today”. If that wasn’t all, Ranveer who is also the Premier League ambassador in India, posed with the logo of English football clubs while on his visit to Old Trafford for the opening weekend of the Premier League season.
Back on the film front, Ranveer Singh who was last seen in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Padmaavat will next be seen in Gully Boy, Simmba, the 1983 World Cup film ’83, directed by Kabir Khan and the Karan Johar directed multi-starrer Takht.
