In an interview with Mirchi Plus, Bosco spoke about Ranveer’s approach to physically demanding shoots and recalled how injuries have occasionally occurred during their collaborations. Describing the actor’s energy on set, Bosco said, “Ranveer Singh is a ball of energy. Until he gets physically injured, he feels like he hasn’t done anything.” He further added that such incidents have not been uncommon while working together. “He gets his hand cut and scars on his face, and whenever we shoot together, he always gets injured,” Bosco noted.

One particular episode stood out during the filming of a dance sequence on the busy Howrah Bridge. According to Bosco, Ranveer suffered a deep cut on his leg during the shoot and required immediate medical attention. “While shooting on the Howrah Bridge, he got a cut on his leg and had to get 6–7 stitches. But his energy never went down, and he kept dancing with his upper body,” Bosco said. The choreographer also pointed out that despite the physical discomfort, Ranveer ensured that it did not affect the final output seen on screen. “The audience is only seeing what he is showing them,” he added, explaining how the actor maintained control over his performance despite the injury.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh was last seen in Dhurandhar, which performed strongly at the box office. His portrayal of Hamza in the film received attention for its physical intensity and emotional undercurrents, contributing to the film’s commercial success.

The actor will now return with Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which is set to explore more of the character’s backstory, including his journey as Jaskirat Singh Rangi. The sequel is expected to build on the narrative established in the first film and expand its universe further as it hits cinemas on March 19, 2026.

Meanwhile, Bosco’s comments offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the physical demands of large-scale dance sequences and the challenges performers often work through during production, underscoring the realities of shooting elaborate set pieces in real-world locations.
