Actor Rajat Arora recently spoke about an on-set incident from Dhurandhar: The Revenge, where he sustained an injury while filming an action sequence. He also recalled how co-actor Ranveer Singh responded immediately to the situation.
According to Arora, the incident took place during a physically demanding stunt. Despite being injured mid-shot, he chose to continue performing until the sequence was completed. “There was an incident during an action scene where I got injured, but I continued performing until the shot was completed,” he said. After finishing the take, Arora collapsed, prompting Ranveer Singh to rush to his aid. “Ranveer Singh came running towards me and picked me up,” Arora recalled, describing the moment.
During the interaction, Ranveer also referenced his wife, Deepika Padukone, while empathising with Arora’s condition. He reportedly told him, “I know it is quite painful, as my wife also went through the same pain,” referring to her experience with physically demanding scenes. Arora further shared that Ranveer ensured he received immediate medical attention and personally escorted him for first aid. The incident highlights the level of physical intensity involved in shooting action sequences, where injuries can occur despite precautions.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar, features several high-action sequences that required actors to perform strenuous stunts as part of the film’s narrative. The film is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
