While Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao are heading the Paani Foundation to help the famine and drought affected areas of Maharashtra, Randeep Hooda too has dived into doing this noble deed. While he is not a part of the Paani project, the actor decided to help people in his own way. He has taken off to Nashik to help the people in the drought affected areas and posted about it on Instagram.

The actor has joined hands with an UK based organization Khalsa Aid which has come forward to help these drought affected areas. The actor addressed the issue of water shortage in social media, in the caption he shared, “There is a major shortage of water all over the country.. in #Maharashtra near #Nashik village #Vele with @khalsaaid_india volunteers trying to do our bit #EveryDropCounts be as prudent as you can @khalsa_aid #SaveWater @narendramodi @amarpreetsingh_ka @ravisinghka.”
In the video, Randeep said, “There is great shortage of water, even drinking water! All the wells have dried up. It’s a serious problem here as this area in Maharashtra gets hit by drought every year. More permanent solutions are needed. “ Have a look at the video:
On the work front, Randeep Hooda will next be seen in the Imtiaz Ali untitled film which is expected to be the sequel to Love, Aaj Kal. The film stars Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead.
