Readers would be aware that Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram took off to Manipur during the weekend to kick off their pre-wedding festivities. The couple were recently seen visiting a temple in Imphal, where they are expected to tie the knot. It seems that the duo wanted to seek blessings ahead of their marriage ceremony on November 29 and the actor was also seen interacting with the media while returning from the visit.
Randeep Hooda was seen expressing his happiness and excitement for his wedding with Lin Laishram. The couple were seen doing some rituals at the temple in Heingang, Imphal East, after which Randeep met the paparazzi. As the paps were curious to know about what the actor wished for, the Sarabjit star expressed his desire to have peace in Manipur and places across the world. “I pray for a happy future, peace for Manipur and everywhere in the world, a happy married life and many more things. I hope I get them,” he told PTI.
The media also asked him about the Bollywood presence we can expect in Imphal, to which, Hooda revealed that only he will be attending the wedding from the fraternity. When asked if the couple is nervous, Lin responded saying, “Not exactly” whereas, Randeep said, “Well, everybody is”.

For the unversed, on Saturday, Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram took to Instagram to inform their fans and followers about them tying the knot in a beautifully worded ‘Save The Date’ e-invite which read, “Taking a leaf out of Mahabharata where Arjun married Manipuri Warrior Princess Chitrangada, We are getting married with the blessings of our families and friends. We are filled with immense joy to share that our marriage will take place on the 29th of November 2023, Imphal, Manipur, followed by a reception in Mumbai. As we set to embark on this journey, we seek your blessings and love for this union of cultures, for which we are forever indebted and grateful. In love and light, Lin and Randeep."
It is yet to be seen if the couple will be hosting a reception in Mumbai for their industry friends and colleagues.
