Bollywood actor has had a pretty interesting year. While his anticipated film Shamshera tanked at the box office, the magnum opus Brahmastra starring Alia Bhatt skyrocketed with the collections. The film gave the cinemas a much-needed boost after several movies failed to create magic at the box office. With Brahmastra still raking in monies, the actor has now urged the fans to watch the upcoming movie Vikram Vedha starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles.

On National Cinema Day 2022, when the tickets are priced at Rs. 75 for just one day, the actor visited a local theatre to greet the fans with Ayan Mukerji after Brahmastra's success. Addressing the fans on Friday afternoon, the actor said, “Agle hafte bhi ek acchi film aa rahi hai Vikram Vedha, usko bhi support karna. Thank you so much. We will see you at the movies (Next week, another good film is releasing Vikram Vedha. Please support it as well. Thank you so much. We will see you at the movies).”

Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva released on September 9, in theatres marking the beginning of Ayan Mukerji’s ambitious trilogy. Brahmastra Part 2 – Dev will likely release in 2025, tracing the life of Dev. The makers plan to shoot the second and third installments back-to-back.

Meanwhile, Vikram Vedha is an action-thriller written & directed by Pushkar-Gayatri. The story is full of twists and turns, as a tough cop Vikram (Saif Ali Khan) sets out to track and chase a dreaded gangster Vedha (Hrithik Roshan). What unfolds is a cat-and-mouse chase, where Vedha - a master storyteller helps Vikram peel back layers through a series of stories leading to thought-provoking moral ambiguities.

The makers will release the film in 100-plus countries globally. Apart from the major markets like North America, the U.K., the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, the film is set to release in 22 countries across Europe, and 27 countries in Africa. It will also release in non-traditional countries like Japan, Russia, Israel and Latin American nations such as Panama and Peru.

Vikram Vedha is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks & Jio Studios and a YNOT Studios Production. The film is directed by Pushkar & Gayatri and produced by Bhushan Kumar & S. Sashikanth and Reliance Entertainment. Vikram Vedha will hit the big screens globally on 30th September 2022.
