Ranbir Kapoor unveils the first thing he bought for his daughter Raha; says, “A Nike sneaker and a Barcelona jersey” : Bollywood News

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor tied knot with Alia Bhatt in a close-knit wedding. The couple embraced parenthood and welcomed their daughter Raha last year. In an interview, Ranbir Kapoor discussed Raha Kapoor's first photo, the first gift he got her, the first person to hold her aside from Alia Bhatt, and other topics.

Ranbir responded to ETimes when asked what he had got for his daughter first. She said, “A sneaker. A really small sneaker. A Nike sneaker and a Barcelona jersey in her size with her name and the number 8.” Alia has shared an Instagram post regarding the same last year.

Ranbir added that he was the one who took Raha's first shot because Alia had not yet recovered from giving birth. Ranbir also discussed which member of the family, Soni Razdan, Neetu Kapoor, or Shaheen Bhatt, was the first to hold Raha after Alia. He said, “It was either Soni aunty or my mum or Shaheen, between the three of them. I don't clearly remember because everything was such a daze. But it was one between the three of them.”

Ranbir Kapoor has long spoken about how 8 his favourite number is, and also opened up about the importance behind the number. Earlier he claimed that he connected with the number as actor-mother Neetu Kapoor's birthday is on eight (July) and it seems like an infinity. Now, Ranbir has disclosed that the first gift he gave Raha also features the number 8.

On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar alongside Shraddha Kapoor released today. The film is directed by Luv Ranjan, produced by Luv Films’, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, and presented by T- Series’ Bhushan Kumar. Ranbir also has Animal in the pipeline alongside Rashmika Mandanna. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri.
