Actor Ranbir Kapoor has been appointed brand ambassador for key products from Mahesh Edible Oil Industries, including its SALONI mustard oil, SALONI soya chunks and STAYFIT refined oil. The association comes as the company outlines expansion plans and targets 25% year-on-year growth for FY 2026–27.
The company, which currently has a strong presence in North and Eastern India, is aiming to expand distribution nationwide through entry into new markets, increased rural penetration and a stronger dealer and distributor network. The campaign featuring Kapoor is expected to focus on increasing visibility, consumer recall and household reach across urban and semi-urban regions.
As part of its production strategy, the company says it is scaling manufacturing capacity to support its expansion plans.

Alongside its edible oil portfolio, the company is also increasing its focus on the soya chunks category under the SALONI brand, citing changing food preferences and rising demand for protein-based foods.

Founded over three decades ago, Mahesh Edible Oil Industries produces edible oils and food products including mustard oil, refined oil and soya-based foods. The company says it will continue to prioritise distribution expansion, production capacity and brand positioning as it seeks to grow its national footprint.
