Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who have been in a relationship for a while, got hitched on April 14. The actors were keeping mum on their impending nuptials but on April 13, both Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji unveiled a teaser of the song 'Kesariya' from Brahmastra confirming that the two actors are getting married this week. The festivities began on April 13.

Back in 2018, while promoting Sanju, Ranbir Kapoor spoke about Alia Bhatt during GQ interview but was still hesitant. "It's still very new, and I don't want to disclose too much information. It demands breathing room and time,” the actor said. “What is the right term for Alia? - Right now, I'm flowing as an actor and as a person. When I see her work, when I see her perform, even in real life, she gives me an idea of who I want to be. Because it's fresh to us, we'll let it simmer for a little longer.”

“It's a new person, new beats," he explained, “and [being newly in love] is always exhilarating." Old tricks, such as charm and enthusiasm, evolve into new ones. I believe I am more balanced now. Relationships are more essential to me. I now have a deeper understanding of sorrow and the devastation it causes others than I had a few years ago.”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding festivities began on April 13 and ended on April 17. The actors will also be seen on big screen together with Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The film arrives in theatres on September 9, 2022.
